The Encore Wire aluminium wire mill in McKinney, Texas, is a tall building which used to have a very high ceiling and a hot, dark and smoky interior: serious ventilation was needed.
Moffitt was called in to provide the solution. Moffitt supplied two 10.5 foot by 74 inch Colt Labyrinth natural and smoke ventilators with the result that the interior of the building is much lighter and the working environment more comfortable, with temperatures dropping from 140°F down to an acceptable 85°-90°F.
