The Apollo natural flap ventilator provides both smoke and day to day ventilation. It conforms to EN 12101-2. It allows extract ventilation for most kinds of industrial buildings and is usually installed on the roof. Polycarbonate versions allow the entry of natural daylight. It is manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
Wide range of applications - Apollo is classed as a dual purpose ventilator, providing both day to day and smoke control ventilation. Apollo is generally installed onto roofs providing high level extract. Polycarbonate versions allow the entry of natural daylight. Either pneumatic or electric controls are available.
Efficient and weather resistant - Apollo is aerodynamically efficient. The sealing system consists of EPDM profiles which keep air leakage down to a minimum. Where ventilation is required in all weathers, please refer to the Apollo ATI.
Easy to install - Apollo is delivered fully assembled to site. It has a wide range of base profiles to suit most sheeting, curb or glazing applications.
Durable - Apollo is manufactured from tough, corrosion resistant aluminium with stainless steel hinges. It has been tested and certified as fall-through-proof in 300J and 1200J tests by an external test house. It is manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
Certified performance - Apollo has been exhaustively tested and certified to EN 12101-2: 2003 in accredited third party test laboratories and is CE marked.
High thermal performance – The ventilator is highly insulated and air tight, meeting or exceeding today’s energy savings regulations.
High acoustic performance – With the aluminium lidded version, a sound reduction of up to 28 dB (R’w) may be achieved.
Quality of manufacture - Apollo is manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality standard. Each unit is given a functional test before despatch.

Rubber seals to reduce air leakage when closed.
For both electric and pneumatic versions, either double action locking mechanisms, failsafe open or failsafe closed.
If used as a smoke ventilator, activation is either by local thermal fuse which opens the unit at a pre-selected temperature, or by responding to an external release signal.
